Guidelines

We encourage you to submit your one-page abstract to obtain initial feedback on manuscript development. Full papers must follow submission guidelines, and references must follow the APA  Referencing style. After your paper is reviewed, you will also have the opportunity to improve and re-submit your nominated submission for the proceedings.

A) The Main Title Of The Paper (Font Size=14 – style ‘Head’ in Word Document)

Author Affiliation, The University of California (style ‘Institution’) 

Email: Name@gmail.com (style ‘Email’) or Work email 

No. of Authors – Upto 5 Authors per submission

No. of Articles – Can submit multiple articles in different topic/theme areas 

B) Abstract (around 350 words – style ‘Abstract Title’) 

The research article should have an abstract. The general reader should be able to understand the abstract without having to read the entire document. The abstract may contain up to 350 words. 

Keywords: Keyword1, Keyword2, Keyword3, (max. 5 Keywords) 

Paper Size: A4; Margins: Top & Bottom = 2.54cm, Left & Right = 3.17cm

C) Total Word Count for Full papers: 5000-7000 words including References/Bibliography 

All texts must be single line spacing, including abstract and references. The text should be fully justified.

All Fonts are Times New Roman with Size=12 unless stated otherwise.

This is a normal text paragraph; the style for it is “Normal”. This is a complementary sentence.. 

1.1 This Is A Heading 2 Style (font size 11 bold) – Sub-Heading 

This is a normal text paragraph; the style for it is “Normal” 

Figure 1: “Figure title” is the style name for this type of paragraph. “Figure” is the name of the figure’s style. Always position the title underneath the figure. 

Table titles should be formatted as illustrated below; the style “Figure title” is also used for the title in this instance. 

Table 2The title should always be placed below the table. The style for the text in table cells is called “Table”. Some cells may need special alignment.

  1. Submissions Guidelines:
  • Authors need to submit a one-page abstract (200 – 350 words; with a maximum of 5 keywords) for review by the Editorial Committee.
  • The Editorial Committee will inform acceptance of the Abstract within 15 days from the date of submission of the one-page abstract.
  • All submitted articles will be going through the double-blind review process 
  • Any article sent will be given to experienced professional reviewers in that field of study who have years of experience in research. 
  • The reviewers will remain unidentified to the authors throughout the review process as a part of the blind review process. 
  • The outcome of the review process will determine if the article will be published or not and will be conveyed to the concerned author(s) within 4 weeks of the date of the article’s submission for review.
  • If the article is accepted, an acceptance letter will be forwarded to the corresponding author, notifying him/her of the date for publication, and the author(s) will be informed. 
  • The review is expected to take approximately four weeks. 
  • Authors will be notified when the printed versions are ready as a part of the Conference  Proceedings and in the Westford Research Journal. 
  • Only top articles as reviewed by the Review Panel will be published in Springer or any top-tier Scopus-indexed journal subject to acceptance of Springer or any other Scopus-indexed top-tier journal. 
  1. Copyrights 

1) All copyrights are retained by the author(s) with the first publication right granted to  Westford. Any copyright infringement claims should be addressed bearing “Copyright Infringement”. A letter will be addressed to the author(s) concerned within seven days.

2) An Author that submitted a manuscript requesting to review and publish the manuscript implies that such author has granted the Westford Research Journal express permission/consent to publish the manuscript without further permission/  consent from the Editor. 

3) Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscripts must officially write to the Editor or  Chair of the Publication Committee within 20 days of submission otherwise such manuscript will be published at a future date. 

  1. Plagiarism Check 

1) The author must submit a similarity index report (preferably a Turnitin Report) along with the final manuscript. The overall Similarity index is not more than 10% and the AI index of not more than 10%. Using ChatGPT or any kind of AI tool to write the papers is not permitted. 

  1. Publication Fees 

There are NO publication fees. However, proofreading charges are to be paid extra if the proofreading services are availed from Westford University College.

  1. Email Submission of Manuscript/Articles 

To submit articles for review and the final manuscript simply click on the appropriate link on the IFRC2024 website. The link will lead to a Google form with relevant details to be filled in by the corresponding author of the research article.

  1. Publication Opportunities 

1) All accepted full papers will be published in the ISSN-indexed conference’s proceedings and Westford Research Journal.

2) The selection of good research papers will be invited to be published in the Conference  Proceedings in Business and Economics, indexed in Scopus (Article Processing Charges – may apply).
